"It's with extraordinary pity that I believe I should illuminate every one of you that my darling spouse April passed away abruptly the previous evening," David Freeman posted on Facebook Monday evening. "To every last bit of her family and companions here on Facebook, my heart hurts with you."

Florida Democratic Party Chairwoman Terrie Rizzo noted Freeman was in the workplace Sunday night "making gets and attempting to get out the vote" and indicated her hard working attitude.

"We are extraordinarily disheartened by the sudden passing of April Freeman," Rizzo said in an announcement. "April put her substance into her locale and was devoted to improving a future for all Floridians."

With the Nov. 6 decision drawing nearer, a substitution hopeful will be picked by the province Democratic seats in the Republican-inclining area, which incorporates all or parts of Charlotte, DeSoto, Glades, Hardee, Highlands, Lee, Okeechobee, Polk and Sarasota areas.

State law gives the seats five days to assemble a conference once formally told by the state party administrator.

Decisions chiefs have officially sent polls to numerous abroad and military voters, so Freeman's name will stay on the vote. State Division of Elections representative Sarah Revell said a notice will be sent to voters in the locale demonstrating that a vote in favor of Freeman would be meant the individual assigned by the gathering.

Freeman, of Cape Coral, was running against state Sen. Greg Steube, R-Sarasota, to supplant Congressman Tom Rooney, who declined to look for re-race this year.

Freeman, who ran unsuccessfully against Rooney in 2016, effectively won the Democratic essential with 77 percent of the vote.

Freeman claimed an organization concentrated on film and TV generation and was a 2013 graduate of the Women's Campaign School at Yale University.
